by Soosan Khanoom on Tue Mar 22, 2011 07:49 AM PDTif a government has the support of its people no Super Power in this world can bring that government down. No one on earth can win over the power of people . Unfortunately the regime in Iran had lost its popularity. At least the popularity it had during 80s when they had young revolutionary generation still hot in their passion for them and we saw how that generation fought the war almost empty handed against all the superpowers who were backing up Saddam >>> full text

It'd have been unthinkable, or very rare less than three years ago, but these days you only need a crowd of no more than five young Iranians before they shout death to dictator!
This thing aint gonna go away, not until khamenei, ahmadinezhad and the rest of the islamist thugs are tried in the courts of Iranian people. I think the sentence is a forgone conclusion, given the "Death to Dictator" thing :)

I hope I can land on the same spot in the future to appreciate the beauty of poet's tomb and Persian mosaic!
Haji alaafi,
by Mardom Mazloom on Mon Mar 21, 2011 06:10 PM PDTYou still look at the equation by the wrong side: it's not people's fault to want more freedom, to reject 364 hangings per year, to want to be happier, to not be killed while they are protesting against injustice, to have equality. You shouldn't be afraid of what people will do to get ride of tyrany! You should condemn the dictatorship which makes people coming out and chant "marg bar dictator". And stop using the alaaf you smoke!

If you weren't such a lousy, amature , incoherent apologist for the thugs in Tehran, you might have, just might have realized that all your masters attempts at Sepah and elsewhere to control, intimidate or push back Iranian people, for the past 6 years has misreably failed , and more so in the past 2.
At every stage people have come back to front larger and stronger, and now with Tunisia and Egypt in mind, there's a renewed enrgy in the air. And of course we have our very own Noroz, and all those mighty winds and aromas of the nature, coming back to life; synthesis tis indigenous season and the North African ones and there you have a mighty, mighty force to reckon with.

by alaaf on Mon Mar 21, 2011 04:40 PM PDTI don't care for Shah or Khomeini. All I'm saying is learn from history and don't repeat the same mistakes as 30 years ago. What's the point of all the bloodshed and civil war when the end result is going to be a puppet American dictator like the one in Afghanistan or Egypt? Is Hamed Karzai what you really want for Iran? America will not settle until they have their man in charge of Iran.

by Mash Ghasem on Mon Mar 21, 2011 04:29 PM PDTyou , who would rather put a pretty face on individuals responsible for death, mayhem and worse in Iran, but give zero credit to the couragoues people of Iran.
Your type's addiction to dictator and their iron fist is akin to prostitutes selling of their body, they just can't do it anyother way.
Then again I, and anyother decent human being, would have a lot more respect for prostitutes than scums blaming all our problems on the people, and pimping for the powers that be. Shame on you.
