That's such a sheep move. They see flourishing economies have that and decide to do the same. Jahanshah is so right! People will spend that limit during the first month and never repay it! The same happened in other countries. When people have a hard time surviving month to month you can't expect that they'll suddenly act responsible and spend and return everything using the card. And it's not even about responsibility! When you don't have money to buy your child something would you repay your credit card? No way!

 Debt settlement will save your money, not your soul!

Plastic for Iranians mean admission of failed economy.

Iran's economy is more or less 100% domestic base, so this credit card means they want people to buy more domestic junk.  But it doesn't work that way.  You can't be an isolationist and expect to have a flourishing economy and society.

This is just another step towards economic failure.

This is good news if you think of it... If more workers are in debt which they can't pay, then this will create more fuel for the revolution. The problem with the green movement is that it is split and also lacks the workers support. With this latest step taken, the regime has guaranteed that more people will join the protests in the future...

Iranian Workers are probably the most poetic in the world, they

already have a chant against these 'credit cards' in their May 1st protests, it goes something like this:

کارتهای اعتباری دانه توی دام است                 قرار داد موقت دیگر کارش تمام است

Another great chant they had  was:

کارگران جهان این اخرین پیام است                 امپریالیسم جهانی دیگر کارش تمام است

This is nothing but a cruel deception or gulmali kardane Iranian workers. A stupid measure to placate workers and then screw them even more when they haven't the money to pay the loans back. 

What a good solution

Don't pay the workers their wages and then give them credit cards with a good deal of payable interests probably taken directly from their wages.

Workers must ban these cards altogether. This $100 credit is going to cost them dearly.

روزنامه‌هايی را که اجازه مي‌دهند ما بخوانيم را ورق مي‌زنيم.. (چند
کلمه ناخوانا)... مجلس آقايان برای ترتيب پرداخت ۱۲ ميليارد تومانی به
دولت.

متوقف شدن کار بسياری از واحد‌های توليدی به دليل عدم توان تنظيم کردن
هزينه‌های توليد يا قيمت فروش يا ادامه کار با حدود ۳۰ يا۲۰% توان توليد که
نتيجه‌اش بيکار شدن يا کم کار شدن صد‌ها هزار کارگر است، افزايش ناگهانی
قيمت گاز و بنزين، گازوئيل و ديگر سوخت‌ها و مواد پتروشيمی که فرياد
خانواده‌ها و توليد گران يا رانندگان اتوبوس، کاميون داران، صاحبان تريلر و
ديگر وسائل نقليه را در آورده است. افزايش اجاره خانه‌ها و رشد قيمت
کهکشانی گاز مصرفی خانواده‌ها که توان پرداخت پول گاز اعلام شده در قبض‌ها
را ندارند.

بازتاب اين اخبار و فرياد اعتراض ملی به درون مجلس آقايان کشيده شد و
برخی از نمايندگان مجلس توضيحات نمايندگان دولت را نپذيرفته و دست به تشکيل
کميته‌ای برای تجديد نظر در قيمت گاز زدند، قبل از آن هم اعلام کرده بودند
که مردم طی سه ماه و بصورت قسطی بهای قبض‌ها را بپردازند، پس نتيجه
مي‌گيريم قبض بعدی هم که مي‌آيد تاريخ آخرين تصفيه حسابش به شش ماه بعد
مي‌رسد و قبض سوم به نه ماه بعد و همين طور سه ماه سه ماه پرداخت‌ها عقب
مي‌افتد. يعنی عملا مردم که نمي‌توانند پولی بپردازند چيزی نمي‌پردازند،
چون با دستمزد کم و هزينه بالا عملا پولی ندارند که بپردازند. مشخص نيست در
مقابل ميليون‌ها نفر که نمي‌توانندچنين مبلغی را بپردازند چکار مي‌خواهند
بکنند.

از سوی ديگر افزايش بي‌رويه قيمت ارز خارجی و طلا، چشم انداز عدم
اعتماد به سرمايه گذاری در بخش‌های توليدی و اقتصادی را نشان مي‌دهد، رشد
۱% اقتصاد در سال ۱۳۸۰ و رشد ۰% در سال ۱۳۹۰ گويای کوران شديد اقتصادی
حکومت است.

برگشت ميليون‌ها چک بانکی بيانگر عدم توانايی بسياری از افراد در اجرای
تعهدات مالی خود مي‌باشد که منجر به فرو ريختن ته مانده اقتصاد بازاری-
وارداتی متکی به فروش نفت است، اين بساط يعنی بيکاری ميليون‌ها کارگر ديگر و
سيل جديد کارگرانی که برای ارتزاق، شغل جديدی پيدا نمي‌کنند. نتيجه‌اش
اجبار به پذيرش مشاغل پست با دست مزدهای گريه آور بين ۵۰ تا ۲۰۰ هزار تومان
ماهيانه به خصوص از سوی بسياری از زنان سرپرست خانواده، دختران جوان و
پسران جوان کارگر در مشاغل خدماتي، توليدی کارگاههای کوچک يا متوسط خانگی
است.

Workers need higher pay and benefits NOT a credit card to go into more debt! They will spend it all and refuse to pay the bank. I hope!
