The Guardian: A second Iraq war veteran has suffered serious injuries after clashes between police and Occupy movement protesters in Oakland. Kayvan Sabeghi, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, is in intensive care with a lacerated spleen. He says he was beaten by police close to the Occupy Oakland camp, but despite suffering agonising pain, did not reach hospital until 18 hours later. Sabeghi, 32, is the second Iraq war veteran to be hospitalised following involvement in Oakland protests. Another protester, Scott Olsen, suffered a fractured skull on 25 October. On Wednesday night, police used teargas and non-lethal projectiles to drive back protesters following an attempt by the Occupy supporters to shut down the city of Oakland >>>

If you're an American, you should appreciate him and kiss his ass, because he did what you either weren't good enough or didn't have the guts or the desire to do. He swore and served to defend your nation, the one that guaranties your right to spew all the crap you want out of your mouth.
And if you aren't, then who the F--- are you to judge his service to the United States of America.
Until a singular global government is established, every nation needs soldiers. And if those soldiers are misused or abused, it certainly isn't the soldier's fault or on his/her bad Karma.
You need to check your Karma, Arj...
Good karma, bad karma!
by Arj on Sun Nov 06, 2011 07:00 PM PSTThese people should've taken to the streets when it still wasn't too late instead of playing pawn to those who exploited them in fighting their unjust war under the false pretences, while at the same time, not only kept hush-hush on the incremental financial plunder of their nation, but enabled the looters to dig further into their national wealth through expansion of de-regulations!
Awful
