That's why American politicians running for office in America have to make campaign promises to Israel to get elected.

If you mean that Israel is a US proxy you are correct.
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Tue Oct 18, 2011 06:11 PM PDTisrael can't use a single bullet or supply even a piece of camoflage with out US approval.
Regarding war
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Oct 18, 2011 06:10 PM PDTThanks to America the two major enemies of Iran are gone. The only one who has any real ability is the USA. If USA was to attack neither the 1970s nor 2011 technology would help. Might as well not bother at least with air superiority.

by Arthimis on Tue Oct 18, 2011 05:20 PM PDTThese poor old pilots with their antique jest are the last hopes we have while entire Iran in 2011 is still stuck in the 70s!!! In case of any war (God Forbid) our last experienced soldiers will be wipped out in seconds... I'm so sorry for us Iranians and our beloved Iran... Ajab Khak to sari shodim to donya ...
The Last Aircraft Shown
by Doorbin on Tue Oct 18, 2011 04:24 PM PDTThat last one in the clip is also an F-4 Phantom but an RF-4E model (havapeymaye shenasaie as ertefaate bala). R is for Reconnaisance.
What you see installed right under the nose is a special camera used for tracking threats on the ground.
The RF-4E was IIAF's pride and joy in the mid-1970s. Kind of their own little "Black Bird."

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Oct 18, 2011 04:22 PM PDTI share your feeling but they are no worse off than the Syrians against Israeli. The short of it is that any aircraft is no match for the one USA got. Best approach is not to bother.
I feel sorry for these pilots...
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Tue Oct 18, 2011 04:19 PM PDTIn case of a Military strike by any country, these innocent compatriots of ours would be easy meat inside their antiquated flying ships.

Is it a top-secret aircraft?

Museum pieces
by Anonymous Observer on Tue Oct 18, 2011 03:00 PM PDTI wonder how much longer they will try to keep these antiques airborne.
Feel sorry for the poor pilots who fly these pieces of junk. How long can they last in a confrontation with an F-16? Three minutes?

by aviator on Tue Oct 18, 2011 01:03 PM PDTAll these guys do much more you can't even dare to believe for defending our homeland. Each one flight is a lesson of courage and accomplishment, not because it's hard with their extrem situation but cause it's an impossible or suicide mission even in peace time. May God bless them.
Down with U.S.A., Thanks Israel.
by عموجان on Tue Oct 18, 2011 10:45 AM PDTDown with U.S.A. for not selling any more plane to Iran, thanks to Israel for supplying IR’s airplanes with spear parts.
Every time I see a clip about IR air force I want to LOL. With out America and Israel Iran wouldn’t had any airplane of any kind. I saw one of those Maverick bombs in a museum ones.
clearly as a PR video....
by Bavafa on Tue Oct 18, 2011 10:29 AM PDTI think they could have done a better job. Also the main pilot could afford losing a bit of weight in the interest of carrying more fuel.

by MRX1 on Tue Oct 18, 2011 10:21 AM PDTGod bless shah of Iran and hard work of previous regime to actualy create a kick ass organization such as air force otherwise there won't be anything today left (including 40 some year old planes) for islamists to take credit for and use it as a propaganda.
