The Guardian: An Iranian student activist has been lashed 74 times for insulting President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Peyman Aref, a student of political science at Tehran University, was sentenced in March 2010 to a year in jail after being found guilty of propaganda against the regime for speaking to foreign media. Aref, who was initially arrested in the aftermath of Iran's disputed presidential elections in 2009, was also sentenced to 74 lashes for writing an "insulting" letter to Ahmadinejad and given a lifetime ban on working as a journalist or membership of any political parties >>>

Tell Him that academics can go about their business without being strangled and murdered in their car alongside their seventy year old wife
Tell Him that people are free to demonstrate and not beaten and raped.in prison by their jailers.
Tell Him that universities are a place for scholarly learning and freedom.of thought where students are not harassed or thrown out of their dormitory windows by thugs from the authorities.
Tell Him that He will be judged by his actions and who He is and not what haircut He sports or whether he wears a medalion
Tell Him that there is a higher autheority to defend Him and a Judge who will hear His plea and not take sides with his aggressor
Tell Him that He can put His faith in Political leaders who can speak Their mind without being persecuted and put under house arrest.....that is if there ever was a political process they could put Their Faith into.

This makes America look so disgusting,
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Mon Oct 10, 2011 09:52 PM PDTThe USA has no intention of acting in any way to support/strengthen the people of Iran or weakening the power of/helping change the Hezbollahi Party. This is the same Hezbollahi Party Carter brought to power cynically as he called for human rights, the same hezbollahi's the US arms Industry depends on to make all those profitable sales in the region. This barbarism is a reflection of US policy for Iranians for the last 32 years. Down with Hezbollahi Party.
That includes the US/EU pet project the MeK, another Hezbollahi Party.
He should immediately get started on strong antibiotics
