Nope I Really meant Prime Minister ... Here is why ...

by Darius Kadivar on

I shouldn't even be explaining this to fellow compatriots who should know better ...

You who claim to be the children of a country with a 7000 year old history ( 25 centuries of which was a Monarchy) who have ended up in the Country barely 300 years old which seems to have brainwashed you with Republicanism in less than a generation ...

Vala Bekhoda ? ...

WATCH BEBIN TV Survey of Iranian American’s knowledge of their heritage and history

LOL

Anyway back to your question:

If Aahoo Jahansouz aka Sarah "Shahi" were to Run for Queen within the prospects for instance of the Restoration of the Qajars on the Peacock throne then she first will have to convince her very own Royal House that she is the Head of the Family Branch:

//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qajar_family_tree

Yet today the head of the Qajar House in not this Sexy Lady but rather this gentleman who to my knowledge has renounced any claim to the Peacock Throne nor expressed any will to ever become Shah :

Mohammad Hassan Mirza II

But as long as he has not relinquished his titles whether or not he wants it or not he can claim the throne as much as Crown Prince Reza today known by his genuine followers as Reza Shah Dovom.

But the head of one Royal House cannot claim to be the head of another Royal House.

In otherwords RP2 represents the Royal House of Pahlavis where as the above gentleman Represents the Royal House of Qajars.

But both are entitled to the Peacock Throne.

Whether or not the Nation chooses to see one or another embody at some historical juncture that permanently legitimate institution we call the Monarchy is another debate ...

The same concept of Line of succession aka "Blue Blood" is true in all Countries with a Royal History/Heritage:

Born to rule: monarchy puts the success into succession By Niall Ferguson (Daily Telegraph)

But the notion of Blue Blood is not to be confused with a Racist concept but an Elitist one. In otherwords the Blood of one Royal Dynasty is not Bluer than another Dynasty. But it is an Elitist Notion inexistent in Republics ( although it seems that many have given birth to Presidential dynasties even today in countries particularly in the middle East ranging from Syria to Egypt, Libya or in even a country like Greece dominated for the past 4 decades by only two Families in the political arena).

I'm not claiming this is good or better but that is how it is so I cannot define something (i.e: the Monarchy) for something (i.e: Republic)  it isn't: Egalitarian.

One cannot just run for the Job of Monarch just because one is keen about it. You have to prove you are First in the line of succession.

It's not because one dynasty ousts another that one is more or less legitimate but Restorations often follow a Chronological pattern due to the idea of Historical Continuity.

As such the Pahlavis are as entitled to the Peacock throne as the Qajars, the Afshars or any other previous dynasty.

However To date the countries which have restored their monarchies ( Britain, Spain to name a few ) have restored the Last Ruling Dynasty.

Except that the Restoration did not lead to their "Ruling" Once again but to their "Reigning" Once again.

That is how Parliamentary Democracy took root in those countries as opposed to the Absolutist tradition which existed prior to their Royal Family's Restoration:

RESTORATION: Britain's 'Glorious Revolution' of 1688 and the 'Bill of Rights'

HISTORY FORUM: Franco's Ghost- Spain's Painful Road Towards National Reconciliation

No nation, to date at least, has Jumped back to some far fetched dynasty prior to the last one in order to restore their monarchy. They have restored the last Ruling Dynasty ...

Not even Great Britain. The Current Queen of England is not a direct descendant of the Tudors either. The Windsors are actually even less British than meets the eye since they changed their German Name after WWI.

So as you see Rules of succession matter.

One may not like or understand the concept but that is how it is. Otherwise it would not be a monarchy ( which by definition is not a democratic nor egalitarian concept, nor ever claimed to be).

Which does not mean that other pretenders cannot equally claim the right to the throne if they present their hereditary credentials.

In other words It's not a question of One's Qualification but that person's line of succession.

This remains true in all for all Iranian Dynasties in History which remain legitimate regardless of the fact that one ousted the other. This is also true for nearly all Royal Houses in the world. Malaysia being an exception where they actually vote for their Monarch:

RESTORATION: Elected Monarchs of Malaysia

I have no problem with anyone who doesn't like the concept of the Monarchy per se ... But then don't try to define something you clearly don't understand .... ;0)

Dariushabadi who died & made you god and the definer of morals?

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

How dare you judge peoples choices?  She is not harming anybody, and is expressing herself exactly the way she wants to.

Who died and made you god?

Are we now all supposed to follow your interpretation of morals?

We've seen how filthy and corrupt mullahs are for the last 33 years are you gonna be our alternative preacher?

The therapy I recommend for you is to watch 5 hours of sex video's every day for the next year, start with playboy and clean your mind from any unnatural thoughts you have regarding the beauty of gods work.  Because you and some mullahs have issues with shame and sexuality we are all supposed to suppress our noble natural nature.

Please Report back to us in 1 week & let us know if you made any progress on control issues.

Dariushabadi: At least

by Raoul1955 on

Women have choices in the West, whereas in muslim nations they are the 'meat' and the 'serf' to their husbands.  My understanding is that in arabo-islamic nations [where women are highly respected], women are taken to 'virginity clinics' to get certified as [vaginally] virgins prior to being 'given' to a man in marriage.
allah-o-akbar to you,
