New from Navid Khonsari, one of the creative forces behind the phenomenally successful Grand Theft Auto III and GTA: Vice City games: 1979 -- THE GAME (VIDEO GAME) -- Based on the 1979 hostage crisis in Iran, 1979 is an Action Adventure game that lets history be the main linear line driving the game. The player takes on a number of different roles whether it be that of an Iranian born US translator, a theocratic militant citizen or anti shah pro-democracy student.
