Manouchehr Meymanat: Prisoner of the day

Brother of Mojahedin member exiled in prison

HRANA: Manouchehr Meymanat, a political prisoner who is serving his prison term in exile in Boushehr Province, is in dire health conditions inside Borazjan Prison facility.

Manouchehr Meymanat, an employee of SAIPA auto manufacturers, was arrested in 2010 after contacting his sister who is a member of the Mojahedin-e Khalgh Organization (MEK). He served several months in solitary confinement inside Intelligence Ministry's Ward 209 at Evin Prison. He was transferred to Evin's General Ward in March 2011 and then to Boushehr's Borazjan Prison.

Branch 28 of Tehran Revolutionary Court under Judge Moghisseh reviewed Manouchehr Meymanat's case and sentenced him to four years in prison in exile.

When Meymanat contacted his family immediately after arriving at Borazjan Prison, he stated that he is kept in a 20 sq. meter room with more than 80 mostly drug trafficking convicts, and that the prison facility lacked minimum hygienic conditions.

The Borazjan facility has been used as an exile destination for political prisoners during both the Islamic Republic era and before it, during the Pahlavi reign, and is notorious for its lack of medical facilities and care.

Another example of a man being arrested, jailed amd tortured by the fascist islamist regime, simply because his relatives are "supporters of MKO"

Regime change for Manouchehr's sake

by Fred on

Those who truly care for the lack of human rights in Iran, those who care for the legions of suffering Iranian men, woman and children in the reform-proof Messianic Islamist Rapists’ archipelago of dungeons, those people advocate for regime change.

Backbreaking airtight sanctions plus air/naval quarantine in addition to sane world’s logistical help to Iranian people for overthrowing the Messianic Islamist Rapists is a must.
