Guilty of What?

by David ET on

Nasrin is guilty of being a caring attorney and mother. "Caring" is a political crime in the Islamic regime. She has done nothing but to do her job as an attorney.

"That her free will, no thing can kill."

by Zendanian on

Below is a short poem by Bobby Sands. I've made a couple of minor changes, Bobby would have agreed!

----------------------------------------

“All things must come to pass as one,

So hope should never die.

There is
no height or bloody might

That a freewoman can’t defy.

There is no source
or foreign force

Can break one woman who knows

That her free will

No
thing can kill …

And from that,

Feedom grows.”

– Bobby Sands

These lines have been slightly modified to reflect Sotodeh's predicament.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

When Bobby Sands and his ten comrades went on Hunger Strike, there were mass demonstration inside and outside of Ireland for them. Where are those mass demonstrations for Nasrin and other political prisoners. Other than the direct action in Germany, almost no other notable action has been done by Iranians.

The Rythm of Opium, is all IRI Understands & Mullahs who

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

are the backbone of this IRI as Khameneii says, are quite high these days as a result of 1979, high in the drug sense as well as the financial sense, both at the expense of the people of Iran. Lets hope for the sake of Islam, the mullahs perpetuate the IRI as stubbornly as they can, so we no one forgets the lessons from our muslim wonders.

The Poem became famous though its idea that "I am right" was expressed more generously by persian philosophers, "I am kind", a more powerful form of service to others and for humanitys evolution because it evokes even more certainty in the path of a creator.   It is the true voice of courage, though very quiet.

The Rhythm Of Time

by Soosan Khanoom on

There's an inner thing in every man,
Do you know this thing my friend?
It has withstood the blows of a million years,
And will do so to the end.

It was born when time did not exist,
And it grew up out of life,
It cut down evil's strangling vines,
Like a slashing searing knife.

It lit fires when fires were not,
And burnt the mind of man,
Tempering leandened hearts to steel,
From the time that time began.

It wept by the waters of Babylon,
And when all men were a loss,
It screeched in writhing agony,
And it hung bleeding from the Cross.

It died in Rome by lion and sword,
And in defiant cruel array,
When the deathly word was 'Spartacus'
Along with Appian Way.

It marched with Wat the Tyler's poor,
And frightened lord and king,
And it was emblazoned in their deathly stare,
As e'er a living thing.

It smiled in holy innocence,
Before conquistadors of old,
So meek and tame and unaware,
Of the deathly power of gold.

It burst forth through pitiful Paris streets,
And stormed the old Bastille,
And marched upon the serpent's head,
And crushed it 'neath its heel.

It died in blood on Buffalo Plains,
And starved by moons of rain,
Its heart was buried in Wounded Knee,
But it will come to rise again.

It screamed aloud by Kerry lakes,
As it was knelt upon the ground,
And it died in great defiance,
As they coldly shot it down.

It is found in every light of hope,
It knows no bounds nor space
It has risen in red and black and white,
It is there in every race.

It lies in the hearts of heroes dead,
It screams in tyrants' eyes,
It has reached the peak of mountains high,
It comes searing 'cross the skies.

It lights the dark of this prison cell,
It thunders forth its might,
It is 'the undauntable thought', my friend,
That thought that says 'I'm right!'

Thanks admin, does not matter what source you choose

but please keep Nasrin's face and her case on the main page 24/7.  Please do not pull it down .  Dedicate a space here on the main page for her and post the daily updates. I pray from bottom of my heart for her health and i hope her demands will be made as soon as possible.

shame on IRI .... those hypocrites have named a street n Tehran after an Irish political prisoner who died in jail due to the hunger strike while at the same time they are causing the death of their own political prisoners in the the very same manner . The degree of hypocrisy is unbelievable. Are they blind?

Poor Bobby Sands must be turning in his grave now . He and Nasrin like any other political prisoner on this earth are carrying the SAME VOICE ... Bobby Sands has a beautiful poem that he wrote in prison .. i am going to post it shortly cause i truly believe it applies here to Nasrin ! and all the other political prisoners , past, present, future .. in Iran or anywhere else !

May the day come that we see no political prisoners in our country!
