The game is developed by Swedish company DICE for EA. It is one of the biggest games, but unlike someone else here I do not think they did a good job, just listen to guys who speaks Persian(not Farsi) when he changes over to English then he suddenly starts to speak with arabic accent. Why? cause that is standard terrorist accent?

I also think that USA by its companies start the way for making people accept another war.

They should make a bonus level where you go to Qum and assasinate the head terrorist.

*There are video games that re enact Vietnam.
*There are video games that envision WW III in a European Theater

*There are video games of special forces in South America fighting the drug war (I believe the war on drugs is futile BTW)
*There are even video games on American soil:

The new Modern Warfare 3 has maps in a bombed out lower Manhattan and Central Park but there's no outcry from New yorkers.

That some are being a bunch of whiny, self pitying losers about this is a testament to their lack of self confidence and sense of inferiority.

"oohhh nooo there's a video game where they bomb us boo hoo boo hoo woe is us Im crying im whinning boo hoo Im a victim"

it's a video game. get over it.

Idiot Basijis have been producing this before..

Terrorist Basijis have been producing these kinds of "video games" before

//www.usatoday.com/news/world/2007-07-16-iran...

But unlike terrorist Basijis and IRI, US and civilized people don't execute the producers of any video games , just because they don't like it

So if you were playing a video game that Osama would attack US and bomb the "fake" cities in the US, would be OK? ha, I didn't know that. You learn something new every day. Would be cool if they killed Americans and spoke English too, right?

Most maps are based in IRAN

by fidelio5 on

One is called Tehran Highway.

Another is Noshar Canals

Caspian border

Grand Bazaar

Kharg Island

Before the moron conspiracy theorists claim this is to get American youth prepared for the war or some such stupidity it will be instructive to mention that there are a couple maps based in Paris:

Seine Crossing and Operation Metro.

Its a fun Game!

The single player version has Farsi speakers for the characters. The developers did a very good job.
