farhang.org: At Farhang Foundation, our mission is to celebrate and to promote the study and research of Iranian art, culture and history for the benefit of the community at large. Farhang was founded in 2008, by a group of philanthropists in Southern California. The foundation works in three ways to achieve its goals: 1. By funding university programs, publications and academic conferences. 2. By sponsoring art and cultural events such as Nowruz and Mehregan, art shows, musical performances, plays, dances, films, and poetry readings. 3. By planning and funding exhibitions with local cultural and / or academic institutions, such as LACMA, USC, UCI, and UCLA >>

by Maryam Hojjat on Wed Feb 01, 2012 02:31 PM PSThis name. It is ridiculous to use Ardi for Ardeshir.

by ali_aaa on Wed Feb 01, 2012 09:52 AM PSTBut that "name" does not mean anything to Non-Persian when it is used like: "It is our Farhang" -
sounds like a computer game got hung.
When you need to explain it to Iranians and also non-Iranians then you know you did not make the right choice.
"Farhang" is a name.

Plus, if it is persian foundation, why all of this is in English? no-one knows how to speak Persian properly in the Board?
