by Maryam Hojjat on Mon Feb 20, 2012 01:53 AM PSTGuess who took him away.
"common sense" is a rare commodity indeed!
by Disenchanted on Sun Feb 19, 2012 09:00 PM PSTWas there an answer to his question or what?!
He needs to leave Iran
by vildemose on Sun Feb 19, 2012 04:34 PM PSTHe needs to leave Iran before ARI identifies his mouth with reverse x-Ray technology... ::::)
A state of war only serves as an excuse for domestic tyranny.--Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
Anahid
by Ari Siletz on Sun Feb 19, 2012 03:51 PM PSTThe unknown ones are in worse shape, we just don't hear about them because they're not on the public radar.
Ari, I disagree
by Anahid Hojjati on Sun Feb 19, 2012 03:46 PM PSTquite the opposite. the fact that we don't see his face does not make his protection any less. one could argue that it might be the other way. people like tavakoli, bahareh and nasrin setoudeh became valuable targets for iri because of their fame.
Hot stuff, but please pay attention to good journalism
by Ari Siletz on Sun Feb 19, 2012 03:04 PM PSTIt makes a huge difference! Video would have had much more impact if we could see the student's mouth as he speaks. Please, this is critically important for citizen journalism: videos should be self authenticating. This video gives no self contained proof that these words were actually spoken by the man standing, and this young man has put his life and freedom on the line for a deniable video. As it is, the only people that have seen this protester's face are the IRI security people, whereas millions would by now be familiar with him because the video would have had what it takes to go viral. Fame, recognition and subsequent international support would act as some protection for this speaker.
To protesters: if you decide speak up publicly to the face on an IRI official, please make arrangements before hand to get properly recorded. It amplifies your protest and gains you some protection.
With so much common sense coupled with bravery....
by Bavafa on Sun Feb 19, 2012 09:41 AM PSTOne ought to follow the faith of this young and brave Iranian to see where he will end up.
My bet is in Evin prison, saddly!!!
'Hambastegi' is the main key to victory

WOW
by MM on Sun Feb 19, 2012 09:30 AM PSTWith brave youth like this, who needs foreign intervention. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that he will be imprisoned just like everyone else who speaks out. But, the wave of discontent is growing in the face of IRI.

Iranian are capable of changing regime
by Sialashgar on Sun Feb 19, 2012 09:09 AM PSTWhen the time is wright. So leave them alone.
This is a must see video, just amazing
by Mash Ghasem on Sun Feb 19, 2012 08:27 AM PSTThe young man asks a very simple question:
What sort of a system is it that every single of its insider 'elected' officials become an 'outsider' , and disqualified only after a while? starting with:
Bansi Sadr
Rafsanjani
Karoubi
Mussavi
and now AN.
With students like this Iran shall survive and thrive.
All power to our youth.
Fantastic!
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Feb 19, 2012 06:00 AM PSTThese great young people need our support.
The regime must go. The sooner the better for Iran and Iranians!
