Lesson # 1
by Bunyip on Fri Jan 27, 2012 11:14 PM PSTNever ever tell a woman that she's old or wrinkly (in part 2), no matter how young or how old they may be.
at least you could is ok to be openly gay here!
by Sheila K on Fri Jan 27, 2012 10:38 PM PSTno?
Naaz Parvadeh haa ye por tavagho
by Sheila K on Fri Jan 27, 2012 10:32 PM PSTI think the only immigrant minority who'd produce such a video complaining about life in America are Iranians and Arabs. I mean what's up with "roya haa" and "kheeyal baafi" and "shaans" ??? I mean if you were kheeyal bafi about America then is your fault for being stuck here. Plus if you don't like it here go home!
I see a lot of Asian, Vietnamese, Cambodians, and other immigrants come to US work their butts off till their old ages. Never receive a $ from their home countries cause they have nothing. Not only they don't complain but praise being in the land of free and opportunity.
We are inherently por tavaghoh and tanbal. I don't want to speak for everybody, but there are a lot of us like that.

by maziar 58 on Fri Jan 27, 2012 08:32 PM PSTNo comment on the subliminal hate mssges.
And the typical of us Iranians.

the clips
by BabakNeekpey on Fri Jan 27, 2012 03:53 PM PSTIt portrays a part of our community. Not all said is compliant with facts.
Very educational and mind stimulating.
I admire Mir Ebrahimi for having the courage and was able to explore " a very limited way" our beings here.
Please do not overlook the positive aspekts of this country which is a great land; It all depends how we utilize these opportunities available to us
I lost a 28 year old here and fully aware of shortcommings.
What I can say finally is that enviroment changes the weak and they become strangers to the culture they belong to
I wish we all learn the meaning of LOVE and love oneanother and stop showing offfffff
Good Job Bro
see part 5!
by alireza on Fri Jan 27, 2012 02:35 PM PSTThe guy says, I am talking instead of you!!!! The guy is hilarious!! It would be better that he does one man show!! just talk and say what he thinks and percept about USA and Iranians!
What happens with so many successful Iranians in USA!
I wonder how he thinks that in Iran still friendships are great and more reliable than USA!!
and he keeps saying that his work is just to serve Iranian community!!
Is it me
by amirkabear4u on Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:52 PM PSTor others noticed this. I see it on BBC perian too. There are a lot of fast moving , fast changing images in Iranian films.
Why?
Is there a reason for it?
Great! And about bloody time!
by Tiger Lily on Fri Jan 27, 2012 11:28 AM PSTThank you, thank you, thank you for this.
One of them reminded me of the story of this woman who had been doing some belooze burda khayati: ishoon tashrif avorde borde boodand Paris Maison baz bekonand.
It's not Disneyland. The expectations come out of Hollywood movies and big bottom burping stories of others.
P.S. Try to help one of these offtheboaties with attitude and you'll end up not owing even more, as the rest of the world does anyway, but you end up in a quagmire of intrigue of slaps in the face, unless, and I stress this, unless any help is organized via a non-Iranian institution.
I am not talking about being
by alireza on Fri Jan 27, 2012 07:54 AM PSTI am not talking about being fishy movie, but I watched the first clip and the guy wants to say, I am very professional, three camera we have and studio!! He dictates many things to the guy who apparently has come to do audition. but then, the who thing is an interview of the guy experience!
Having said that, the guy himself, doesn't say why he is there and what is his background, however wants to make a movie as big as Iranian community diaspora!! ZERESH:D
