Farhad, Farid Akbari Fazli: Prisoners of the day

Protester brothers

CHRR: Farhad Akbari Fazli, 19, and Farid Akbari Fazli, 21, were transferred to Behbahan Prison on Wednesday, July 11, to begin serving their prison terms of seven and nine months, respectively.

The two brothers were arrested in February 2009 during street protests. They were sentenced to prison terms on charges of "insulting the Supreme Leader."

Farhad Ali Akbari Fazli was only 17 at the time of arrest, and according to Iranian laws he would be considered a juvenile. Intelligence forces interrogated him for a whole month due to the security charges waged against him.

The Behbahan Prison is notorious for its poor conditions and there is concern that due to their young age, brothers Akbari Fazli could face serious threats at that facility.

These two brothers should be freed immediately.

And I agree with Fred.  Islamist regime is unreformable, should go and be replaced with a secular democracy. That is what the vast majority of Iranian people want. that is what the islamist regime and traitors on it's payroll are frightened of.

Iranians of all walks of life taking a stand for their freedom and just rights.  They are to be commanded and supported by all freedom loving folks.

Iranians need to stand united in their support for these brave souls, support their goals and aspiration for a  free independent and prospers Iran.

Foreign nations which thru their apartheid policy practice the same insanity and unjust detentions cannot be a good example for the future of Iran and need not to apply.

Regime change for Farhad & Farid's sake

In the past 34 years, the Messianic Islamist Rapists have proven they are doggedly anti-human rights and warmongers.

By process of elimination, regime change is the only option left on how to deal with these Islamist Rapists.

Backbreaking airtight sanctions plus air/naval quarantine is a must.
