Remains to be seen how much media attention this tribunal will garner.  I also wonder how many in Iran, esp. among the younger generation, are aware of the facts relating to those events.

The Late Shah & Savak were no longer there to defend the human rights of Iranians.  The Irony.  Now Iranians are going to seek their human rights in court with the support of institutions belonging to those countries that brought Khomeini to powerand wish to keep extremism in power. The Irony.  Iranian Human Rights Stem from the King and the Constitution of Iran. The better the late shah made Our Human Rights, the more Iranians resisited. The Irony.

And absent from International attention for 33 years.  It is time for the international community to pay attention to the elephant in the room (i.e. the violation of human rights in Iran and Iranian people) and instead of playing politics to stratify other UN member namely Israel who has been in violation of numerous UN/Geneva treaty.
