Shame on director and producer

It is a shame for producer and direstor to make a film about a barbar who did nothing in his miserable life but to rape and wage war against other people of other believes.

He is Abu Talib

Come on guys, if you read the text in the cut out at the beginning of the video you can see that the geezer will be playing the role of Abu Talib.

I wonder if Majidi will be including the massacre of the Jewish tribe of Bani Qurayza and killing and looting of Arab tribes who did not surrender to the forces of Islam in his soap series.

Two things ...

1) Are they going to depict his face or his likeness, if so Majidi better watch out for the Wahabi maniacs, they might deem him "Vajeb ol Ghatl" and chop off his head or stab him 29 times like they did Theo van Gogh.

2) If they show any of the deragetory points of his life that other commenters suggested here, they better put metal detectors at the doors to prevent suicide bombers on foot, and plenty of concrete pilons around the movie theatre buildings to prevent truck driving suicide bombers from doing a "Godly" act on the viewers.  You know how it is with the followers of the "Religion of Peace" !!

I guess to make the movie about Mohammad more interesting, Mo has to look like Johny Depp and if they ever used any 9 year old for his wife, she would have to look like Gogoosh when she was a child.

Now, is Muhammad being played by the guy who looks like Johnny Depp? I didn't think that people in Mecca and Medina looked like that 14 centuries ago. Then again, if Jesus of Nazareth was blue-eyed with curly long blond hair, then Mo can look like Johnny!

your comment makes me think of the poor Afghan boy who played a role in Kite Runner and then he was harrassed because of it. I am not sure it is such a good idea for a 9 year old living in Iran to play in this role.

Who is playing the 9 year-old bride?

There are plenty of child actors in Iran to fill that role.
