Denver Post: Masoud Bahramisharif's beaming, bespectacled face looked out from a picture Wednesday, as friends and colleagues recalled the University of Denver student as a bright light on campus. Bahramisharif, killed by a hit-and-run driver May 31, was an eager student, always happy to take on a task and make sure it was done on time, a professor said. The 24-year-old Bahramisharif, from Iran, was studying at DU as a graduate student in engineering. Denver police have arrested Andrew Simpson, 45, on suspicion of vehicular homicide >>>

I sure hope this was not a hate crime, but would not surprise me given the stygma created about Iran and Iranians by the one and only Islamic AntiPublic of Iran.

I am sorry for the loss of this bright young man and for his family back home.
