HRANA: Jiinoos Noorani and Roofia Beidaghi, two Semnan Province Bahai residents, have started their prison terms inside Semnan Prison after they were summoned for their sentence enforcement.
Jinoos Noorani and Roofia Beidaghi were each sentenced to one year in prison on charges of "propagating against the state," and "membership in the Bahai organization" by a lower court and their sentences were subsequently upheld by an appeals court.
Roofia Beidaghi was arrested in her shop in her home town of Sangsar in Fall of 2010 and Jinoos Noorani was arrested in Winter of 2011. They each spent time inside Semnan Intelligence Office before they were released on bail.
Currently the two women are held inside Women's Ward of Semnan Prison, notorious for its poor hygienic conditions and over-crowding, where they are kept in a room with 60 other prisoners, most of whom are drug traffickers.
Roofia Beidaghi's father, Goudarz Beidaghi, arrested in March 2010, was also sentenced to one year in prison and three years' exile from Semnan Province on charges of "propagating against the state." The family's shop in Sangsar was sealed in April 2011 and its operation license has since been revoked.

What were the people thinking when
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Jun 11, 2012 04:43 AM PDTthe idiot generation decided to have an "Islamic Republic". Did they expect something different? Were they massively stupid or brainless? All those self declared geniuses and intellectuals who came up with idea of Islamic Republic.
These morons as Dabdagh still shamelessly babble. Is there one of them who is going to explain and defend their idiocy? Why did the stupid generation follow them and damn their children to hell of IRI. What kind of parents do it to their own children.
Arash,
by AMIR1973 on Mon Jun 11, 2012 04:05 AM PDTThank you. For some of our multiple user ID West-residing IRI Groupies and/or members of IRI lobby organizations, creating Arab State #23 and the "1967 borders" is just one manifestsation of their pathological Joo obsession as well as a means of diverting attention from the Islamist terrorist regime ruling Iran.

by Arash Kamangir on Mon Jun 11, 2012 03:15 AM PDTI fully support your statement regarding Bahais. Bahais are our countrymen who have been oppressed by mollahs only because of their beliefs, very much like jews under hitler. Many Thanks to Israel and other Western countries who have supported Bahais. Shame on bankrupt shia cult who has made a bad name for himself for hundreds years to come.

Iranians of all walks of life taking a stand for their freedom and just rights. They are to be commanded and supported by all freedom loving folks.
Iranians need to stand united in their support for these brave souls, support their goals and aspiration for a free independent and prospers Iran.
Foreign nations which thru their apartheid policy practice the same insanity and unjust detentions cannot be a good example for the future of Iran and need not to apply.

Islamist Rapists
by Fred on Sun Jun 10, 2012 05:58 AM PDTThe only sane way to put an end to 34 years of nonstop Islamist Rapist barbarism is regime change.
Islamist Rapists’ well funded lobbies and cyber army are hard at work trying to make it a high crime to ask for regime change.
Airtight sanctions plus air/naval inspection in addition to logistically helping Iranian people to actuate the regime change is a must, the alternative is a war the nuke acquiring messianic Islamist Rapists are hard at work to impose on all.
