I submitted my application to the Israeli Disinformation Team
by ILoveIran on Mon Mar 26, 2012 12:49 PM PDTReproduced for your reading leisure:
Additionally, I also suggest we put up a video of advertisements for condominiums and apartments so teams of disaffected pro-Israeli/MEK bloggers can write things like "Islamist Homes for sale" ... as for the shoes for sale in Iran let's put up ads and call them "Mullah Sneakers."
If the management of the MEK/Israeli cyber war team likes these ideas, please feel free to contact me: my hourly rate is $6.50 (plus the usual Green Card and paid speaking engagements with the Jamestown Foundation).
Now if you will excuse me, I have to get a cup of "Islamist Mecca Juice" (hot tea) and "Allah biscuits" (shirini).

Home owner policy
by Ferdos on Sun Mar 25, 2012 06:46 PM PDTMost of Iran
is on fault lines and based on the Japanese seismologists, most of Iranian
buildings and houses are not built to withstand a strong earthquake(so-called the big one), which
eventually is destined to strike any parts of Iran. I wonder if the home
owners
of these multi million dollar houses have any homeowner policies. I
doubt it. But I guess the ower(s), who is most likely either one of
those top akhoond echelons, or a JE arm dealer, doesn't care. There is
more of the oil money where it came from.

فكر كرديد اسلام واقعي غير از اين باشد؟
G. RahmanianSun Mar 25, 2012 06:07 PM PDT
In the future history books Iranians will read: The Islmists came and destroyed Iran. They tortured, raped and killed Iranians at the rate of one victim for every few hours. They destroyed Iran's economy. They pillaged the state's coffers. The top Islamists got away with billions of dolllars. The bottom ones were happy with hundreds of thousands of dollars. When time came to leave, they travelled light. They only carried handbags. The top Islamists lived in their palaces and the bottom ones lived in their homes in far-away lands happily ever after!
This is shameful ...
by ILoveIran on Sun Mar 25, 2012 05:38 PM PDTSomeone may come along and buy 1 of those homes and actually establish a family life in one, with a spouse, and children.
Clearly the better option is to move those homes to Palestine so the Israeli army can fill them with Palestinians and then demolish them.
if there's one saving grace it is that there are no skin color restrictions on the prospective buyers, as there are against Ethiopian Jews in Israel.
Gandhi!
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Mar 25, 2012 05:25 PM PDT"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and weakest man whom you have seen, and ask yourself if the step that you contemplate is going to be of any use to him. Will he gain anything by it? Will it restore him to a control over his own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to swaraj (self rule) for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and yourself melting away." Gandhi
GR, all the points that you noted
by Anahid Hojjati on Sun Mar 25, 2012 04:56 PM PDTi already knew and most aware readers know too. it is not a secret that many in iran get rich while most are not doing well. didn't we read couple days ago the story of the guy who was tortured and how he was thinking of multi million dollars commissions? the commentators some had written as if they found these homes really big. these were not. even for standars of iran, it has been decades that rich class in iran have lived in very nice homes. now the fact that inflation is making cost of living for regular people in iran, that is much more important than villas in north. as i said, many of us have seen much nicr villas in north of iran dating back to 70s if not earlier.
Dear Vildemose:
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Mar 25, 2012 04:52 PM PDTIt seems whatever goes wrong in the Islamist Republic it's the fault of the Jews and the Zionists.
expensive by Iran standards
by MM on Sun Mar 25, 2012 04:45 PM PDTThe reason these villas seem expensive is because of the fact that per capita income in 2009 was
$3,470 per person (Iran)
$46,000 per person (US)
The prices of accomododations in Tehran are even more scary, See, e.g., the following $1 million apartments that seem low compared to some prices that I have seen by email:
//www.worldisround.com/articles/98910/photo2120.html
on top of that, the cost of living in Tehran is off the roof:
//www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/city_result.jsp?country=Iran&city=Tehran
and this forces generations to live together and the young couples cannot offord to get married or live independently. Then, you see these fancy 2nd-home villas, and/or apartments / houses in Tehran, and the folks here have to wonder who they belong to, or what they do to be able to offord these accomodations!!!
Anahid Khaanoom!
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Mar 25, 2012 04:45 PM PDT1. This is not a comparative study of different eras. 2. It is not a comparative study of US and Iran. 3. It is about hypocrisy of the Islamists. 4. It is about Khomeini telling the poor he was going to give them free this or that. 5. It's about IRGC controlling every sector of Iran's economy. 6. It's about regime's thieveries and purposefully keeping the greatest majority of Iranians under poverty line. 7. It's about the depletion of Iran's national wealth. 8. It's about tens of billions of dollars embezzled by the Mullahs and their goons. 9. It's about more than 5,000,000 Iranians living in diaspora. 10. It's about killing an Iranian every few hours. 11. It's about stoning and hanging Iranians in public. 12. It's about tons of issues that Iranians are dealing with.
And what jobs does the IRI create to pay for such homes
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Sun Mar 25, 2012 04:44 PM PDTNone. No Jobs that pay a wage a person can live on. Iran declines every single year with IRI and even though it declines and there is less $ to go around, inequality increases. Amazing that not one of the people that built those homes can afford a home of their own.

If you guys think of these houses as very fancy
by Anahid Hojjati on Sun Mar 25, 2012 04:07 PM PDTyou have seen nothing in US. In Bay area, Portland, Seattle and many other cities, these would be considered ordinary homes. take a drive in neighborhoods like Mission in Fremont California, Mercer Island in Seattle area, West Lynn in Portland, and many other neighborhoods in US and you see much bigger, fancier houses. The way everybody was commenting, I thought that the villas would be much nicer. In Iran during Shah, as a kid while my dad was driving us in north of Iran, I saw much nicer villas with more land.
In California
by iamfine on Sun Mar 25, 2012 03:55 PM PDTIn California you can find areas with $50M houses and a few miles away there are houses not more than $100k - Oakland California. We Iranians love to criticize our own people, it is true back during Shah and I see yet constantly here in iranian.com
BTW - Who ever design these houses must be from California - not bad
Shameless Islamist Thieves!
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Mar 25, 2012 03:18 PM PDTThe audacity of the shameless Islamist criminals controlling Iran is that, even with total depletion of the nation's coffers as a result of their unrestrained thieveries, they still talk about Islamist justice.
All these SOBs came to power with no or very little wealth of their own and now possess assets worth billions of dollars.
Shame on Islamist thieves!
