You are denying reality.  Assad is a cowardly war criminal.  The shabiha militia (alawis) are roaming around with the syrian army massacring Syrians who come out to protest against the repression/dictatorship.  There is overwhelming evidence supporting this.  Now because of their genocidal murder, the opposition is practicing self defense.
