by yolanda on Sat Nov 24, 2012 08:02 PM PSTThank you, FDOML, for the English trailer!
I wish it was longer!
Apparently this documentary is not just about Maziar, it talks about other Iranians who have been forced to confess by IRI! Not sure if they interviewed Roxanna Saberi...

Maziar's
by firstdayofmylife on Sat Nov 24, 2012 09:45 AM PSTIn the English Version, Omid Memarian talks about his ordeal with his torturers, however, they had to cut him in the Persian version.
I can't find the English version. Has anyone seen the English version?
Maziar's interview talking about making the documentary, "Forced Confessions":

by yolanda on Sat Nov 24, 2012 09:09 AM PSTI am just glad that he is out of IRI's jail. I recall he jumped $300,000 bail for his freedom. In Iran you can die of natural causes at age of 35 like the blogger, Beheshti, meaning you are responsible for your own death!
I watched Maziar' documentary "Mohammad and the matchmaker" 2-3 years ago. It is an awesome film and Maziar is a super talented film-maker!

Great job Maziar!
by Benyamin on Sat Nov 24, 2012 07:22 AM PSTIt is easy for any of us to sit back and judge!
It is easy to blame,
It is easy do nothing,
I am glad I watched this film, and I am glad I could watch it in peace and away of any harm!
I believe the most powerful message in this film is that:
PAYAN E SHAB E SIYAH SEFEED AST!
HOPE
Maziar Thanks though you are still not Sincere with Iranians
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Sat Nov 24, 2012 10:15 AM PSTThe Sugar coated deadly deceitful Ideas of the past that helped the people create 1979 are not addressed.
That Specifically is A Big Crime towards all Iranians in Nov 2012 considering what you experienced and know to be true from your experience.
The Point is the USA loves extremism for the middle east and North
Africa. The Reality is the West is United in its support for this too, so there is no
disagreement. Reality being what it is, though many are unaware, means
that democracy and progress are impossible for these societies to
realize due to Interests of The West. This is about getting to the truth of what the late Shah knew to be true and is still absolutely true today. The West is capable of destroying
the Civil Liberties and Civil Society it Pretends to Care for
deceitfully, by using the deceit of supporting democracy and unleashing
far more Harm than Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini All Combined.
click below to learn about the American Genoicide and those who
celebrate it instead of acknowledging it and learning from it so as to
not repeat it. It may be bitter medicine, but it is good for lovers of all things American and those who are good at deceiving themselves.
//iranian.com/main/blog/amirparvizforsecularm...
Read this above blog and please comment, tell us if for the Native Americans, after the American Genocide came away with the lesson that PAYAN E SHAB E SIYAH SEFEED AST! HOPE. If hope is not based on something real it is false, na?
The Late Shah and His team were 1000 times better than the USA or its
System for humanity from the true experience of Iranians and others around the entire
world. God Bless The Late Shah, A Great King and Representative of A
Far Better Team, For Iran & Others, than what the wests Interests
are and have been For the Region.
Exposing Insincerity is not blaming or doing nothing, it is a critique that matters when ever it is truly observed. False hope can lead to cruel hope, and cruel hope is what gave rise to 1979, to continue cruel hope is a crime, because hope based on nothing real is not a small mistake, it is to be on the side of continuing the great tragedy Iranians are living.
Can you even grasp what I am sharing????
What we are witnessing is
by firstdayofmylife on Fri Nov 23, 2012 02:56 PM PSTWhat we are witnessing is a violent cult whose indoctrinated members know nothing but hatred for others. Nezam Islami has nothing to do with Islam or politics. This is not even religious fantacism/; it is simply an horrific cult parading itself as religious fantacism.
What about an English
by firstdayofmylife on Fri Nov 23, 2012 02:57 PM PSTWhat about English subtitiles?
Excellent job.
waste of time
by Fred on Fri Nov 23, 2012 11:26 AM PSTThose who after 34 years of nonstop barbarity, still think Islamist Rapists, “reformers” and all, are reformable, they’re just not dealing with reality, a very costly folly.
When a regime is inherently diabolical, as the Messianic Islamist Rapist Republic is, anything but trying to overthrow it would be a waste of time.
And those who work with oily lobbies trying to arrange "grand bargain" are simply trying to buy insurance for the survival of the regime.
Chilling
by Faramarz on Fri Nov 23, 2012 11:17 AM PSTJust when you think that all that can be said about this evil Regime has been said, you see something like this, a horrifying tale of torture and sadistic acts by sick individuals
Thank you Mr. Maziar Bahari for your great work and your last sentence sums it all up
