Motahare Asadi: World Youth Chess Champion

Wins gold medal

Tehran Times: Motahare Asadi from Iran won the gold medal of the World Youth Chess Championships on Sunday in Maribor, Slovenia. Taisiya Tereshechkina from Russia took silver and Hungary’s Judit Juhasz claimed the bronze. Around 158 young players took part in twelve age categories.
