11,000 emamzadeh!!

Now, we had 12 emam. given that an emamzadeh is a child of an emam, then that means between the 12 of them they had 11,000 children that somehow died in Iran. That's 916 child per emam. Man, were these guys doing anything else but having sex in their lives? And this is just the number of them in Iran. I wonder how many of them are scattered in Saudi and Iraq, if someone was actually making a claim for them.

Educated Iranians still patronize Imamzadehs

As unbelieveable as it sounds, educated Iranians still visit and donate money to Imamzadehs.

I was in Iran last year and Imamzadeh Saleh in Tajreesh and Imamzadeh Hashem in Chaloos were full of people who were "praying" inside.
