BBC: The US has removed the dissident Iranian group Mujahideen-e Khalq (MEK) from its terror blacklist. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton formally removed the group after sending a classified opinion to Congress earlier in September. Also known as the People's Mujahideen Organisation of Iran, the group insists it has renounced violence. But in its statement, the state department said it had not forgotten the group's past >>>

How the USA is naked before Iranians, GOOD.
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Sat Sep 29, 2012 05:41 PM PDTthe MeK and Khomeini had a few things in common ideologically, they both opposed the emancipation of Women as UnIslamic, they both opposed economic development and industrial development of Shah's era as Westernization and these principals alone makes both the IRI and MeK ideology unelectable in Iran. So they aren't going to be serious about the ballot box for all the people, just like the IRI. If only they would accept the ballot box.
MEK in Power
by jirandoust on Sat Sep 29, 2012 04:08 PM PDTAnyone who believes MEK could be an alternative to IRI regime is paving the road for Iranian people to jump from frying pan to fire...I mean a huge fire. Something that will put Killing Fields of Khmer Rouge in Cambodia to shame. Think about it!
Growing from a Past of Antellectuals.
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Sat Sep 29, 2012 03:44 PM PDT#1 Goal for USA is the production of corruption, poverty, injustice, inhumanity, regression and suppression for the region. The USA/west are opposed to Progress, Peace and Human Rights. The last thing the USA/west would ever do is give support to the late shahs son, his majesty Reza Pahlavi after what his father and grandfather did for Iranians in violation of the US's goals. Imposing the IRI and Loving extremism for Iran and others = these are the methods the USA uses to achieve/realize its end goal. True Awareness of what has been going on for 40 years and will continue to go on is the most difficult step for iranians to come together & realize together.
The real Pity is the often shown ignorance of Iranians, who claim they support democracy for iran, call them "our democrats" yet to be fair I like the late shah don't accept the name because i support democracy yet I was not so stupid as to misunderstand US agenda for the region or be deceived by the media regarding his character of the late shah and his team, I'd prefer if we called them our run of the mill Idiotic anti-intellectual, Intellectuals= antellectuals... those who were deceived against the most progressive Institution and Team of Individuals in Iran, using only the promise of democracy by the west, with out acknowledging who was the most democratic acting leader in modern Iranian history, the late shah of iran aryamehr and helping iranians build foundations to evolve in a democratic direction in direct opposition to commies and mullahs.
USA PRESERVING THE ISLAMIC REGIME AGAIN
by Ayatoilet on Sat Sep 29, 2012 12:03 PM PDTDelisiting MEK is a ploy to avert any serious uprising or protest in the following Islamic Republic election year. Now on, any slight dissent or opposition will be transalted by the regime as elements of MEK and will be put down brutaly and quickly, this will shut the population up. On top of that in foreign lands all PR will be focusing on the new face of Iranian opposition popping up everywhere in the lunatic image of MEK members as the true face of Iranians, this will sway public openion outside Iran in regards to a real alternative to the current Islamic regime. Also the Israeli policy towards Islamic regime does not have any element of regime change which is comical and unbelievable also serving the Islamic regime by militarizing the streets of Iran and making the regime more threatenong towards regular Iranian population. THEY ARE ALL IN IT TOGETHER, CREATING CRISIS HAS BEEN VERY LUCRATIVE IN THE REGION WITH THE AID OF AYATOLLAHS

Stop Nagging!
by Faramarz on Sat Sep 29, 2012 08:36 AM PDTOK you sour-pusses,
In the case in front of a judge in the Appellate Court, the State Department could not make the following case to keep MEK on the terror list.
"A terror cult (MEK) joined a terror Regime (Saddam) to fight another terror Regime (Islamic Republic) and many Iranians got killed."
That would not have persuaded the judge to rule in favor of the State Department.
They had till October 1st to show cause and they couldn't. So they had to let it go.
They have been removed from the list...
by Bavafa on Sat Sep 29, 2012 08:01 AM PDTAnd they may get invited to the White house or in Tel Aviv to have tea with their president but in the eyes of Iranians, they will remain a traitor group until their leaders and the organization have faced a just and creditable trail and stand to account for their treason against mother land.
