It's like this in Kansas
by Foaad Khosmood on Sun Aug 01, 2010 11:54 PM PDTThis reminds of me Kansas. I spent a few months in a small Kansas town on an engineering project. The vast and flat fields are what make the sky seem huge.
It's a very nice place to live when there aren't any tornados or giant wasps. Winters are pretty cold too.
In the US, Big Sky can only mean Montana

Masterpieces
by Azadeh Azad on Mon Aug 02, 2010 02:27 AM PDTCongratulations, "gimtogim." Each of your photos is a masterpiece.
Dear Mort: I believe that "gimtogim" has used a wide lens, something similar to fish-lens (but not exactly that,) along with some enhancement as well as some juxtaposition. Look at the sky in photos #32, 34 and 37, for instance. They are surreal!
No matter what techniques, these are the best photos I have see in a long, long time.
Cheers,
Azadeh
I Love These Images
by Mort Gilani on Sun Aug 01, 2010 04:39 PM PDTNot to devalue your great photos; I am just wondering if any enhancement was done on these images, or did you use great lens(es) I don't know about. Excellent work!
