Dear Ahura
by IRANdokht on Mon Dec 28, 2009 02:26 PM PSTAlthough it would make perfect sense, I doubt that she meant it as a defiant and especially obscene gesture. Most Iranians consider both directions the V signs.

Rostam Offspring Battling IRI Monster
by Ahura on Mon Dec 28, 2009 01:34 PM PSTOne can have nothing short of admiration and awe for these beautiful and courageous Iranians who are rising against the Islamic Republic demanding a secular democracy and just society. The world is siding with your movement and today President Barack Obama strongly condemned the recent IRI violence against you and stated that USA supports your right to freedom.
The compassion and good will of the demonstrators against the cornered Basigis, the agents of terror and violence against them, are nicely depicted in pictures 8 and 10. The defiant obscene gesture by the injured and beautiful young lady to IRI regime is a nice contrast seen in picture 7.
