AP: Thousands of Iranian anti-government protesters have clashed with hardliners on the streets of Tehran as marches turned into running battles. Opposition protesters, chanting "death to the dictator," hurled stones and bricks in clashes with security forces firing tear gas. The opposition held its first major street protests since mid-July, bringing out thousands in demonstrations in several parts of the capital, while tens of thousands marched in government-sponsored rallies marking an annual anti-Israel commemoration.

If Iranian President Ahmadinejad is not able to get a room he will stay at the Iranian Mission to the United Nations.  Where is that?

Protest aganist A'nejad's stay in NY

While our brothers and sisters continue the fight for democracy in Iran, we need to protest against Ahmadinejhad's visit to NY.

Since Ahmadinjad's reservations were cancelled by the Helmsley Hotel, apparently he plans to stay at the Intercontinental Barclay Hotel in NY next week. Please voice your opposition to the hotel's general manager, Leland Lewis, by flooding ...his email address: leland.lewis@IHG.com. At the risk of sounding a bit chauvinistic, I think the one in maghnaeh and chador in photo number 12, holding the “down with Israel” sign is a hottie!  How can a brother hook up with a hot little Hezbollah woman like that?  I’d like to know!!
