If you don’t already know him, I would like to introduce the extraordinary photographer, artist, and documentary filmmaker Serge Hamad to you. He is an acclaimed New York-based photographer and artist whose dedication to human rights for Iranians makes him an extremely significant and important asset to Iranian community worldwide. Born in 1961, Serge is a Frenchman who is married to an Iranian woman. Serge Hamad started his career at a young age as a combat photographer. He learned to capture the human distinctiveness like hatred and fear, but also compassion almost instinctively, but always in an impartial and respectful way >>>

Dear Nazy: I'm truly humled and honored especially coming from you who epitomizes kindness and generosity of mind, body and soul. Thank you again for all the hardwork you do to bridge the gap by setting an example of non-judgmental and non-partisan love of humanity.

Heart behind the lens

Thank you dear Vildemose for your as usual kind and caring comment. It is truly refreshing to see artists like Serge Hamad who are taking the cause of human rights in Iran and running with it, taking the message of hope with them and getting it out to the world.

In the same vein, it is refreshing to see you genuinely interested and active on many threads where the issue of human rights of Iranian people is discussed, adding to the dialogue with your caring and thoughtful comments. It is getting easier to tell the real advocates of human rights from the pretenders. Thank you for your undeniable compassion.
