Excellent use of B&W
by ramintork on Sat May 24, 2008 01:05 PM PDTI really enjoyed these images. You have picked a great selection of subject matter that suites B&W photography.
There is a sense of serenity, and your contemplation in a moment of silence and finding beauty in the everyday life yet being part of that world is visible from your phtographs.
The long vigils of the night.

Shoes on the Wire
by Sid Sarshar (not verified) on Fri May 23, 2008 05:42 PM PDTShiva,
I enjoyed these images. There is a sense of tranquility in your work and it comes across.
A side note, Image #5, I was under the impression that whenever you see a pair of sneakers hanging from power lines, they belonged to someone who was gunned down in a gang related killing. Does anyone know if this is actually true?
