Beautiful paintings, Mr. Karimi
by manesh on Tue Jan 08, 2008 06:11 AM PSTBut, isn't it interesting that, so far, nobody has commented on the paintings and only on the actors depicted in it? What? Are they saying because they don't like Mossadegh, you shouldn't paint him at all? Now let's see if you can paint these wounded children who can not look at a painting and not see their own hurt? Can you paint narrow-minded, absolutist losers?
Hypocracy on trial!
by changiz khan (not verified) on Tue Jan 08, 2008 05:16 AM PSTThis should be the right title for this photo collection. Mossadegh was the greatest, ever greatar than Khomeini, charlatan, in the history of the beleaguerred country. He betrayed a nation for his personal and selfish ambitions. Sorry Mossdaeghollahis present here - now fire your curses at me!
Our friend lost in
by J'e .. Fu (not verified) on Mon Jan 07, 2008 09:54 PM PSTOur friend lost in nowhere-land (where is it? :)) and that other bright mind (and his sloppy tyrant-keeping :) are so confused.
.
The Good Dr. violated the constitution. (This is rarely discussed.) He also was the Ahmadinejad of his time (however you wanna take that pill. I like the Drs. :).
.
The Shah loved Iran. This is plain as day. He was also confused (about what's up in this planet) but given the choices available to him, a Royal Nationalist, one supposes the Americans were the least offensive of the choices available. Uncle Joe? Nyet! The Chinese? No one was that crazy. Qajars? They had enough fun and f***d Iran nearly for good (and good riddance!) Mullahs? Befarmaa'een. Bekhoreen! :)
.
Gotta love Iran. What a colorful land and such lovely people!

by Kouroush Sassanian on Mon Jan 07, 2008 07:20 PM PSTSo the arab regimes that the Soviet supported are all free now, because of the fall of the Soviet Empire - right!
In a sense, if this
by Another lost iranian in France (not verified) on Mon Jan 07, 2008 04:49 PM PSTIn a sense, if this Mossadegh comedian would have kept power back in 53, we'd have prolly ended as another communist regime. And surely be free by now...
