by Anonymousinq8 (not verified) on Tue May 19, 2009 01:02 AM PDTNice pictures... but some of them made me uneasy.. seems like some of the people were either offended or surprised being photographed without permission.

by Mariam A. (not verified) on Sat May 16, 2009 05:11 AM PDTHi I think your pictures are great.
But I don't think one can just take pictures of people without their permission. In the Middle east and most Muslims countries there is an expectation of privacy in a public space... especially when it comes to women. Even in France, everyone has the right to privacy for their face. It think it is uncomfortable taking a photo to people who are not exposing themselves in a public event (ie. like in a march, protest and so on), but they are merely going about their business in their daily life.
Great shots Kamal

Great photos
by Abarmard on Fri May 15, 2009 07:07 AM PDTGreat job. About taking pictures from people, I am not sure how most people would react seeing some one taking their pictures. It could get awkward.
Fantastic album. Thanks
Dear Kamal
by MEHRNAZ SHAHABI on Fri May 15, 2009 12:14 AM PDTThank you for the pictures. They are lovely! Some friends of mine from Lutheania told me last night that their friends (!) had come back from a trip to Iran and have been telling everyone how they were stunned to see things so dramatically different from the bleak image they had been fed. They were so moved by the beauty of Iran, but in particular by the warmth, humanity, kindness and generosity of Iranian people. They are going to give me the video of their trip which I will show here soon.
nice photos

Thank you for sharing
by Nasrin Sasanpour on Thu May 14, 2009 03:03 PM PDTThank you for sharing beautiful shots of real life in Iran; really enjoyed the nice combination of people, nature, and places.
On my trip to Iran 3 years ago, I was also rather obsessed with taking pictures of oh so handsome very old men in different cities.
