Everything Under the Sun

Photo essay: Walking down the heart of Barcelona

by Jahanshah Javid
My hostel was right on the corner of in Barcelona's most fashionable boulevard: Passeig de Gràcia. From there I walked down to the lovely Plaza de Catalunya, and finally made my way to the port through the always-busy La Rambla. I also made a stop at the St. Josep market and the contemporary arts museum (featuring non-Spanish artists Konrad Fischer and...). What a lovely and welcoming city... down to earth Paris.

what do you mean you're the only one in shorts with shoes and socks? Germans do it all the time.

Red Wine jan, kheyli lotf darin. Barcelona is indeed a charmer, and in different and quieter ways than Paris.

I saw fewer Iranians in Barcelona than any other major European city. Only one couple with their son. You guys are missing out...

It's a wide range. How do they decide how much a culprit has to pay? If I were you, I would've paid by Amex for Air Miles® rewards. Or, even better, I would have got the idea of levying surcharges on fecal comments such as this one. Believe me, my friend, you would have become rich in no time.

Beautiful pictures, nonetheless.
