good photos but here is the problem
by The Man Who Killed Liberty Wallance (not verified) on Thu Jan 24, 2008 08:13 AM PSTThe photos' titles make you think that you are getting closer to the peak (which seems to be the goal) but in reality you keep stalling in the same around Alimastan and Emamzadeh Ghassem!
In several photos you kept writing "toward the peak" but it seems that dream never came through! What happened did you run out of film, or you changed your mind?

AY GONBADE GUITTY AY DAMAVAND.
I have only these tow short phrases from OSSTAD BAHAR in mind. But never the less
I have downloaded all the Pictures. I am happy that after the black aera of devilsis over in the Islamic Iran Villages such as lahasha, Alimastan uns likewise exist and are known. In the time till 1978 one could meet a lot of strangers in the Area which is motive of the pictures. They behaved so as if the Iranians were the Invaders in thier Empire. If tow of them were allready in a PASHAKALA so they did not let any iranian come in.The agriculture is florishing, the passes are well frequnted. There is Life around Damavand. It makes me happy. next time when you go to clime the peaks the Emamzadeh QWassem will be repaired, will be bult up and it will have even more Inhabitants. INSHALAH. Greeting.

The beautiful Damavand, unfortunately can not be seen on most days from Tehran, due to pollution.
To have such scenery and not be able to enjoy it is a shame.
Merci
