Anahid, don't cheat yourself! You cannot see Iran on 1 trip!
by obama on Sat Jan 16, 2010 08:27 PM PSTLorestan has not changed, I am sure. Unless you are going to spend couple of months, you really cannot enjoy all those places thoroughly unless you just want to wonder around like any tourist.
Iran is so bautiful and most people are too! Smile, and enjoy your moments in our motherland! Remeber, the season you travel would make a big difference. Enjoy!
Dear yolanda, if I visit Lorestan, I will do a photo essay
by Anahid Hojjati on Wed Jan 13, 2010 06:24 PM PSTDear yolanda, yes, If I visit Lorestan, then I will do a photo essay. I am going to also find all places I used to visit as a kid and take pictures of them. I also like to visit Abadan since I spent my first few years of life there. Other places that I like to do photo essay are Esfahan, Shiraz, Shomal and obviously Tehran. It looks like I wiil be super busy. My relatives will probably be upset since I will not have enough time for all the mehmanis but then I will go to some mehmanis, I am sure. Hopefully IRI will be gone and people will be in good mood.

If you visit Lorestan, you can do another photo essay.:O) Lorestan looks pristine to me, no pollution and no traffic jam, nice and quiet!
The mountains have interesting formation, all the strata tilt at 45 degrees, very pretty!

by yolanda on Tue Jan 12, 2010 10:40 AM PSTThe views look very pastoral with camels, sheep, and green natural pasture. The kids are really cute and I am glad to see them study! The little boy did a great job with his chalk-drawing on blackboard, very artistic!
