Taraneh Sadeghian's paintings are truly beautiful and gripping! They are quite obviously based on Ferdowsi's Shahnameh epics, some of which are easy to tell because the story is so well-known, and some others because the writings included in the paintings are marginally legible through the photograph. I so wished that when these wonderful artists are featured, we could learn more about them, their works, and in particular the pieces we are viewing. Sometimes even a name for a piece can be so telling of the artist's thoughts when creating it. Elaheh Gallery does have a decent site, but other than the name and a picture of this artist and photos of the paintings, for example, there isn't anything else to learn about Ms. Sadeghian. Just the same, thank you for sharing her refreshing works with us. Excellent!
