For years the LA Iranians have gathered here in the Dockweiler Beach State Park in Palisades Del Rey in Los Angeles. Police was saying approximately 4000 people are usually there for Charshanbeh Souri. A few years ago that I was there and the crowd was even bigger, at some point police helicopters flew over the crowd at very low altitude and in a very annoying way. Our youth charged toward the cops on the ground and strongly objected to that and there were lots of strong exchanges. This year the police looked much more friendly.
