British Musuem: The largest "lost properties" store in the world
by Anonymous Londoner (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 01:14 AM PSTThanks to the IRI's auctioning our national treasures, musuems across Europe are enriched in their inventory of the looted Persian artifacts. And artefacts are not the only itmes on the loot-list. There are examples like an entire Persepolis column or a complete wall relief on display!!
Photos without captions are like bodies without heads and Lodonistan is not an appropriate title for this photo-essay.

British Museum
by shirazie (not verified) on Mon Jan 05, 2009 08:22 PM PSTWonderful pictures.
My favorite is the British Museum. Lots of great Persian Artifact. Including Cyprus's Human right Tablet and stair ways from Persepolis (Taghat Jamshid).
they are prominently displaced and wonderful to see as oppose to Harvard Museum in Boston.
It is a bit sad that UK has it. But at the same time- it belongs to humanity and everyone needs to see them. London gets more traffic than Mullah dominated Iran right now.
