I Love Our Kurdish Hamvatan too, BUT/question
by Tebrizi156985 (not verified) on Mon Nov 12, 2007 11:37 AM PSTMr Hesam.Do you have something against Kuwait,Armenia,Azerbaijan,Afganistan? All these countries are independent.I still dont understand why some of our compatriots try to hurt relations with neighbours. Its very dengarous for Iranians to promote such kind of ideas. If someone from Azerbaijan (north) suggests to unified South Azerbaijan with North or Iraqian Kurdestan with Iranian Kurdestan ,how will be reactions off iranians,of course very negative.I think kurds ,arabs ,azeris have more rights to seperate from Iran than Arabs,Azeris,Armenians,Afgans and etc to join Iran.We should refrain ourselves from this kind of ideas.
I Love Our Kurdish Hamvatan too, BUT
by Hesam (not verified) on Sun Nov 11, 2007 08:15 PM PSTBut now I think if I go to Kurdestan mountains I'm gonna get shot by Kurdish rebels :(
Somehow few of our Kurdish brothers think being separate from Iran is to their advantage. I personally think that not only Kurdestan should stay with Iran, but also Afghanistan, Tajikestan, Iraq, Azarbaijan(north), Armanestan, Kuwait, UAE, Omman should also join Iran so we break all borders and become strong.
amazing

Kurdistan
by Newroz (not verified) on Fri Nov 09, 2007 03:32 PM PSTBravo. Vive Iran! Vive Kurdistan! Biji Iran o Kurdistan!
As we know from some Iranian and Bahama Ghobadi's films, the rugged Kurdish mountains with their spectacular waterfalls, offer even more spectacular pix. And the whole of Iran, like Argentina, is a land of different, dramatic landscapes.
I didn't know that after more than 30 yrs in Disapora I still had to to go to demonstrations to defend basic rights for Kurds and Kurdistan. That is what I had to do last Monday in front of UN in New York to support younger Kurds against Turkey whose prior Saturday's demo in Times Sq openly boasted on loud speakers "Kurdistan has never existed. It does not exist. Kurdistan will not exist. We will not allow it!"
So when two days later Kurds in front of UN where shouting their slogans repeatedly, "No to Turkish Invasion," "Dialogue, Yes! War, No!", and "TUREKY OUT OF KURDISTAN!", some Turks, carrying Turkish flags, rushed out of their nearby Consulate to insult Kurds, some taunting Kurds and ready to attack until NY Police intervend to protect Kurds who had legal permit to the peaceful demo but luckily on that day Turks did not.
I tried to amuse some Turks by sayinng politiely, 'Please listen: these people are only saying, "Turkey out of Kurdistan!", and you believe, "Kurdstan does not exist", so why worry? But no one smiled. No sense of humor! They asked, "Who are you?"
As expected Turkish consulate agents started taking photos of Kurdish demostrators, presumably for their secret "terrorist/separtist' files. But fortunately many Kurds, including myself, were wearing dark sunglasses on that cold windy winter day!
Then, young Kurdish men and women hand-in-hand, ended the domo joyfully by dancing Halparki to exuberant Kurdish music- played would you believe on a cell phone!
Breathtaking!
