Photo essay

The Gardens at www.ferrari-carano are beautiful all year round, but my favorite time to visit them is on a rainy day in winter or early spring. I am attracted to the Quality of light and combination of colors and textures. Melancholy drips from the air.

Soosan Khanoom: Thanks for stopping by.  Spring belongs to tulips, doesn’t it?

Etowah River: The gardens are at www.ferrari-carano winery which is located at the end of Dry Creek Valley near lake Sonoma.  I am not sure I understood you comment about having film!

Yolanda: Thanks for your kind words, glad you enjoyed it.

JJJ:  Thanks for making it all happen.

Dear Ghahremani

I like you comment and share the same sentiment.  This year "Gham" was part of my Eid.  Maybe that is the inspiration behind these pictures. Sid Sarshar

It has been some time since photography spoke to me so softly! Most of my recent favorites have been loud, painful or just stunning. This collection took me through a peaceful rainy day. LOVED every one of them, especially the red poppy!
