JACOB EBRIANI's artworks explore the mystical, and imaginary through lush and subtle painting technique developed through over 50 years of experience. His primary inspiration comes from Persian Sufi poets such as Rumi and Hafez, and also Jewish mystical imagery from the Kaballah. He also has a deep love of music which informs his surreal and impressionist style. Jacob was born in 1946 in Tehran, Iran. He began painting at the age of ten when one of his art teachers recognized his unique talent, and hired him as an assistant. By the early 60's Jacob had experienced a decent amount success as an artist in Iran, but by 1979, shortly before the Islamic revolution, Jacob moved his family to Los Angeles
