TRAVELER

These photos are from South of France and Northern Italy. South to some is North to others! Some say I like “the South” while others might say “I like the North”! They may even argue or debate with each other about the merits of “the South” or “the North” while talking about the same place! Some artists travelled South because they thought the “light” was better and the landscape gave them inspiration while others travelled North for completely different reasons but they ended up in the same place. They saw it in different light and visualized it in their own way but, in the end, they saw what they wanted to see! For myself, I saw what I saw but had no idea whether I was in the South or in the North; to tell you the truth, it didn’t really matter that much!
