by NIKOO on Sun Aug 08, 2010 12:03 AM PDTNIKOO Dear David thats true. After a period of time secretery of the school testified that he had been the closest person to the fight and he hadn`t seen that Ali stab him and also the report from coroner mentioned that according to the evidences the attack could happen from behind.
Ali several times told me that he is innocent and (If there is some one waching ) he will be free. Any ways who ever did it and Ali paid for it it is over now. what a nightmare.
best

by Latina on Thu Aug 05, 2010 04:07 PM PDTI am glad to read that he is finally free. I wish him and his family the best.
And well they should call you Azadeh.
by Rosie. on Tue Aug 03, 2010 05:10 PM PDTThe supertitle of this article is 'freedom'.
Thank you!
by Azarin Sadegh on Tue Aug 03, 2010 04:01 PM PDTThank you so much for all your kind comments!
About Ali's studying in prison: Honestly, I don't know all the details! I will ask my friend about it, but I remember my friend telling me that because of Ali's good behavior and also his deep knowledge of computer systems, he was given access to the priosn's library, and limited computer access. But maybe the degree my friend mentionned to me was his high school diploma...as when he was arrested he was only 16. I'll let you know.
Dear benross, Comrade, Zan Amrikai, Redwine, Oktaby, David (Thank you a thousand times!!), JJ (You too!), Rosie (and you too!), Doctor X, Payom, I am a bahai too, statira, ferfereh, and MM (it's ok..everyone calls me Azadeh..:-)...and everyone who has sent me suppotive emails and facebook friend request!
I am grateful to every one of you for being alway so nice and for your support! Azarin
Thank you Azarin
by MM on Tue Aug 03, 2010 12:39 PM PDTThis is a good example of what Shadi Sadr eluted to: Those forgotten in IRI jails get "the worst case senerio treatments" by the regime.
By keeping their names alive, whether Ali, Majid or Sakineh, ....., we keep them alive.
Azarin
by Ferfereh on Tue Aug 03, 2010 12:11 PM PDTThanks for your effort, I think you saved not only him but whole his famliy.
A beautiful family
by statira on Tue Aug 03, 2010 09:10 AM PDTIt's nice to see him back to his family. I wish it was the same for thousands of other Iranians.
Whoever saves a single life
by i am a bahai too on Tue Aug 03, 2010 08:38 AM PDT"Whoever saves a single life, it is as if he had saved the whole world." -- The Talmud, Sanhedrin 4:5
Bravo Azarin, for your tireless compassion.
خدا رو شکر که یکی تونست در ایران از مرگ بگریزه.

ممنون از کسانی که همت کردند و تونستند صدای علی رو به گوش مردم جهان برسونند.
Dear Rosie
by David ET on Tue Aug 03, 2010 03:10 AM PDTI created Ali's blog on Iranian.com among other things. As my memory serves even one of the teachers testified that Ali didn't do it and he was pushed by other kids but anyway that is all behind...
David, Azarin (Comrade)
by Rosie. on Mon Aug 02, 2010 08:11 PM PDTI want to write a full reply to Comrade. The most complete account I could find of the incident was Ali's own:
//iranian.com/main/blog/sce-campaign/there-not-much-time-left
This blog appeared almost three years ago and it doesn't mention that one of the dead boy's friends testified that his account was true. Could you please refresh my memory on this? I'm almost positive that happened.
Don't get it
by Doctor X on Mon Aug 02, 2010 07:24 PM PDTPrisoners and those who get to be on the death row (wrongfully or not) have the opportunity to get an education, in fields such as Law? Are you for real?
Precious life
by Jahanshah Javid on Mon Aug 02, 2010 05:23 PM PDTAzarin, you played a big part in helping his case. You pushed and pushed to publicize his plight. You should be very proud. What's more precious than saving a life?
Comrade,
by Rosie. on Mon Aug 02, 2010 05:17 PM PDTIt's true. Ali was innocent.
Great news, Azarin, I will write more tomorrow.
Thank you all
by David ET on Mon Aug 02, 2010 04:46 PM PDTIt is great to see Ali back with his family. I hope his attorney Mostafaei and his wife and brother in law's family once again can come together too.
Thanks for

"to Comrade"
by comrade on Mon Aug 02, 2010 03:53 PM PDTThanks for reading my comment. I am sure you agree with me that sentimentality has no place in judicial thinking, otherwise we give more ammunition to the mullahs who think that women should have no place in the judiciary.
You surprise me by saying that you don't know why he, as an innocent person, has to pay blood money; I hope you will further investigate the reasons behind these payments and enlighten us as to the reasoning behind them. These payments are the reason he is branded an ex-convict.

Only Democracy for Iran
by Zan Amrikai on Mon Aug 02, 2010 03:52 PM PDTI did a web search for him after reading your article--and found this site: //www.onlydemocracy4iran.com/ What on earth? Check this out-- Underneath the English, there is Persian--but it's backwards! It would be like writing: narI rof ycarcomed ylnO
Strange.
Anyway, sad tales to read about the IRI's judicial system. God help all those caught in its grip.
to Comrade
by Azarin Sadegh on Mon Aug 02, 2010 03:36 PM PDT@Comrade: For someone who says he is not familiar with Ali's case, you seem pretty judgmental! But since I am very familiar with the case, so I can tell you that he is innocent and even the judge was convinced of his innocence because of all the real proofs in his dossier...Yet, I don't know why he has to pay the blood money.
You can call Ali an ex-convict, or whatever you like, but unlike you, I find it great that he looks in good shape and happy and strong. Plus, I am sure you don't know, but Ali has managed to have a college degree while in prison in order to continue his education to become a lawyer...because he always believed that an innocent man shouldn't get punished for a crime he hadn't committed. That's why he kept his hopes high, and per his family's advice and lack of therapist in prison, he used "his daily exercises" as his way to battle with depression.
One of them will never return...
by comrade on Mon Aug 02, 2010 12:35 PM PDTI am not familiar with his case. And I don't know why he still has to pay the so-called blood money.
I don't dare call him a killer, but for an ex-convict who spent several years on death row, he looks to be in good shape.
We should never forget the victim of the crime and his family as well.
Every Day We Get A Little Bit Closer!

I'm not sure about his mind though!!
Thank you, JJ!
by Azarin Sadegh on Mon Aug 02, 2010 11:39 AM PDTThank you so much, my dear Jahanshah, for always being there for Ali, for believing in his innocence, and for publishing every piece of news about him and his case!
You are the best...and you should be proud of yourself!
