From my trip to france, I have arranged another photo essay. It starts with photos of refugees. I also wrote a poem for them:
اینجا …
بر سر هر کوی و برزن
طنین نعره نگاه تازیانه خورده زنان مسلمانی ست
که نان فرزندان غریب خویش را
بر تکه کاغذی پاره
دراوارگی داستانی بیچاره
گدایی میکنند…

the refugee's
by Anonymous on Wed Sep 12, 2007 02:59 AM PDTdear Nima,
These people are not refugee's! since the borders with these former Eastern European countries went open, thousands of people, poor people, from Romania and Bulgaria entered countries such as Netherlands, France, Belgium and Italy and many more from Poland and Czech Republic are entering UK in fully loaded busses each day! for work and for money! they are not seen as refugee's due to many reasons, they don't speak our languages, they can't work and they have no degree's, the average people like me and you can not help them and believe it or not, most of them are recruited by these criminals from their own countries to ask for money and believe me, none of the money you give them, will be used for such stories! you just have to ignore them and never ever provide them with money! Doing such, you will definitly stimulate these criminals of recruting these poor people ever more so and you are not helping them! the best way to help them, is to send them back home, where they can go back to their villages, use their lands and make a living via help of the EU! their governments receive financial help in order to improve the agriculture, but what is the next problem, the village are getting empty and left behind with elderly who can't work on land! ...
the problem in Poland is so severe that nowadays skilled workers from Germany are leaving Germany to go and work on urban development projects throughout Poland, why? there is truely no Polish skilled worker left in Poland itself to work on such projects! they are all in UK, Netherlands and Germany, seeking for jobs they can't get or find! believe it or not, pay a visit to Amsterdam and you will see it by yourself! ... perhaps it is better to change your poem, which is beautifully done and I will admit, but that speaks of naivity due to the fact you live in USA, so far away from the reality in Europe!
Thanks,
Charlotte
