by David vs Gulliath (not verified) on Mon Jun 22, 2009 11:28 AM PDTتیر و کمان یادتان نرود

by Assal_B on Mon Jun 22, 2009 10:43 AM PDTI know Nazy Jan that you have been hit hard by the recent days, especially by the loss of beautiful Neda. I hope you are well and thank you for posting this pictures for us all to see. It looks like a sizeable crowd and the candles and imagery is just breathtaking. I see more Americans among you than I have as of yet. Hopefully the awareness will continue to grow for this worthy cause not only within the American community but within the American community as well. Thank you again for sharing these images with us.
Pls Tweet Fighting Tips
by Fighter (not verified) on Mon Jun 22, 2009 10:27 AM PDTIt should be note that the Basij are specifically targeting the weak, young, & frail.
In 100% of the Youtube videos you see a slightly built kid or old man being ganged up on by 2-6 men.
If you ever see a well built or muscular youth he usuaully beats the hell out of them.
Pls tweet these tips, that most street/guerrila fighters use.
NOTE: only use if faced with torture or firearms
Gear
--------
-Wear tight clothes, tight belt, strong shoe laces
-Wear oil or suntan lotion so you cannot be gripped
-Wear an athletic supporter or CUP to protect againt groin kicks
-Do not wear loose clothes; that can be strangled or twisted around you
-Get brass knuckles or a piece of metal that can be bent over fist with rubber
-Small piece of wood with three nails in it to fit in fist.
-Put talcum powder in pockets and throw in eyes
-Carry water pistols with bleach
-Carry small razors
-Tape clubs to both outer-legs under pants
Fighting tips:
--------------
-Always run; if cornered or outnumbered, strike first and hard, retreat immediately
-Most will be stunned by ingenious but savage nature of your response. That gives time to strike others or flee
-Never stop moving, twisting, trashing; use legs for traction
-Always approach sideways; with the width of your body, so smallest area is exposed
-Punch into the throat: this cuts off breathing
-Swipe legs to trip and push over
-Poke into eyes
-Bite onto fingers; and clamp down
-Twist arms backward, elbow above shoulder to break
-Hit the upper back of head, not front (too thick) or sides (easy to miss)
The goal is to stun, strike and flee.
Most people try to box, become indignant and want to retaliate or go into submission while they are winning.
Fight dirty -- that is your only hope, and their worst fear.
Neda changed everything
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Mon Jun 22, 2009 10:26 AM PDTI think that she proved that this was about women, no more IRI, and the youth.
I don't know if I trust Reza's tears, but he's human and a father. It's obvious to anyone who has kids that this could have been anyone's kid in Iran.

San Jose - Santana Row Protest
by t (not verified) on Mon Jun 22, 2009 09:32 AM PDTNazy:
Wish you were there to take pictures of the Santana Row protest. A well organized, big event. The best was all the slogans were in English and instead of merely rhyming ones they used ones that made sense. The crowd in Santana Row took note of the protest and had lots of cars honk and people there cheer in support of the protestors.
