It is easier and cheaper that way. you won't have to deal with the politics of it all. Ya know?:))

Thank you, Monda,

The flowers are very pretty......from the distance, they look like tulips.....but I looked the center of the flower.......it was definitely not tulip. Damavand is very beautiful......they should make it into a National Park or something.......it has interesting geological activities also:

Ari Siletz

flabbergasting vistas!

by Ari Siletz on

Why waste the eye on little things when it can take in the whole world? Still, my favorite is one of the little things, the portrait in #28. Maybe it's the clever shadow mask.

Beautiful pictures, just LOVE pix of Damavand so much

by Bavafa on

Climbed it for the first time in 77-78 as a young kid and then 3-4 years later the challenging North-east side (Yakhchale Sioleh).

I would love to get another attempt at it.

Me too

by Bunyip on

Just like Amoojoon, these photos have made me homesick. And on this note I need some advice from the good people of this Iranian.com on going back to Iran. I have not gone back for 33 years (I left in my teens). I am not sure what to expect; do I need a visa; can I go as an Iranian with a foreign citizenship/ passport; etc etc.

Please be kind, no sarcastic comments, and any good advice is greatly appreciated
