Hafez tomb in Shiraz is more real

Thanks for the lovely pictures and volek you look really good and seem like have lost weight (glad I noticed because I plan to buy you some Sanate naft t-shirt from Aabdan so I will buy the right size which should be large. right?). As for fools in love, volek we lived in sunshine state of Iran and to this day every khuzestani I meet is ready to give everything up for real love. As for you my dear, the best is yet to come. We all have some infatuations along the way which we think is love but that is mother universe’s way f preparing us for true love which comes when you are older. I have always believed that true love comes when a person is older and is more realistic.

As for Iranians with “going out of business”, I sincerely believe the owners are the same people who did the same think in 1991 in San Francisco and milked people with junky stuff for several years until they closed shop and they do this all over the place.

Although I like both Shakespeare and Dante, and the city seems magnificent, I say Hafez tomb in Shiraz is more real and closer to the heart of most of us (especially me).

Glad to see you healthy and happy and one of these days when you least expect it, your true love will come your way and as your fellow Abadani, I will be thrilled.

I think for women in general love has more eastern meaning of love, but for men it's more of  a lust. Great example was Shahla Jahed and Nassere begheirat. In their home videos you could see how in love was the poor girl( moratab gorboon sadagheh Nasser miraft) but in return you didn't see any reaction from him.

What is love?

Well tough question JJ, My answer would be it is more divine than the western (love = sex) and much less worshiping and idolizing than in the east. Something in the middle.

I think if the thing Romeo and Juliet did have was love then you can not love your kids since I do not hope you are Romeo and Juliet with your kids. But I do think and hope you love your kids.

Romeo and Juliet is really story about mad passion and falling in love. Not love itself.

Sorry to ruin it for you!

But Romeo and Juliet is just a story with no real truth behind it, the balcony that you see in the picture is made just for attracting turists. That aside it is a nice story about affection and passion, not really love. Love is a more lengthy kind of thing.. not something that 16 yr olds would commit suicide for.

As I get older and look back

As I get older and look back I think of some of my past loves and I have forgiven the ones who broke my heart. But I feel guilty about some of the heart’s I broke and don’t know if they ever forgave me.
