PATRIOT IRANIAN
by afshinazad on Mon Nov 08, 2010 02:16 PM PSTOnly once in our life if we could imagine if we have united and democratic Iran, what would be future and isn't that in democratic country all parties will have the opportunity to run the country or still some think with his or her party being the right medicine for our country isn't that moving toward single party and single ideology that exists. REZA PAHLAVI might doesn't have the 100% of the support but atleast he is the single person respects every other parties involvement and this is quite positive sign and if others also could act like him and think like him and ofcourse every one has the self interest and that can not be denied and it is quite challenging to put every one in one room for single goal and that is free Iran. as far as REZA PAHLAVI concerns building unified front line for free and democratic Iran and rest of the problems could be solved by compromise and negotiation democratic way and I hope we Iranian for change could reach to same ground before it is too late and we have lost the oppertunity that is before us.l

by maziar 58 on Mon Nov 08, 2010 01:28 PM PSTSir with all due respect I never called you or anyone else an IRR supporter.
But always wish for a peaceful downing of IRR .
P.S. I NEVER SAID I'M A MONARCHIST
BUT I STILL PROUDLY CARRY MY OLD EXPIRED IRANIAN PASSPORT ISSUED IN 1978. Maziar
Agree with Bavafa
by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on Mon Nov 08, 2010 12:31 PM PSTAlso, I would like Reza Pahlavi to condemn the round of economic sanctions that only serve to hurt ordinary iranians. You cant call yourself a patriot and knowingly defend hurting ordinary iranians:
---
The Human Cost of Sanctions on Iran by Hani Mansourian*Many years of sanctions
coupled with sub-optimal economic policies in Iran has resulted in a
weak economy and a fragile middle-class. The latest round of UN, U.S.,
and EU sanctions on Iran is likely to drive millions into poverty and
destitution. As economic opportunities for the growth of a solid
middle-class disappear, the young Iranians that have historically been
the agents of change in the country will lose their social base.
Ironically, then, sanctions may do more to increase the power of the
Iranian government and to weaken the domestic opposition movement, to
the ostensible detriment of U.S. interests
//muftah.org/?p=403
---
Members of Iran's
middle class are already bearing the brunt of U.S. and European
sanctions intended to curtail the country's nuclear weapons program. But
in the coming weeks they expect to be hit again, when the cost of
gasoline, bread, electricity and other staples are set to increase to
market levels, with some prices possibly rising as much as tenfold.
While the rural poor will be partly compensated by direct cash handouts
from the state, many in Iran's cities will have to fend for themselves.

Shutruk was king of Elam, Shush and Anshan
by Shutruk on Mon Nov 08, 2010 10:42 AM PST...long before the savage and barbaric Aryans settled on the plateau, the Elamites were a powerful civilization under a great king called Shutruk.
//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shutruk-Nakhunte
We need Shutruk II to rule over modern Iran as Shahanshah.

Mr. Reza Pahlavi call for
by Bavafa on Mon Nov 08, 2010 09:53 AM PSTMr. Reza Pahlavi call for removing this regime by the means of a non-violent resistance, push for a establishing a democratic and secular system and emphasizing that this struggle belongs to Iranian people and foreign involvement need to be for support ONLY is a noble and worthy of a praise.
However, Mr. Reza Pahlavi as a possible leader for future Iran and as a patriot and concern Iranian must use his influence and power to lobby the US congress against any war of aggression on Iran by US or Israel.
A true leader will protect his/her country and citizen not only from the internal thugs and criminals but also from the foreign criminals and thugs.

PLEASE FORGET ABOUT 4000 YEARS AGO ; LET'S TALK ABOUT TODAY. p.s the last moji I'd known was MOJGAN. Maziar
I didn't say that
by Shutruk on Mon Nov 08, 2010 07:42 AM PSTI said that if we are to have a Shahanshah then Moji would be better than Reza.
The Khamenei dynasty would have my support any day compared to the Pahlavis.
Alternatively, we should have an Elamite (Khuzestani) on the throne as was the case 4000 years ago.
*%@#$!
by maziar 58 on Mon Nov 08, 2010 07:11 AM PSTshtur what the hell !! are you talking about ?
Iranian wants to get rid of the molla bazi and the rules of the arabic laws and you're suggesting Mojtaba ?
Maziar
The Pahlavis are a peasant family
by Shutruk on Mon Nov 08, 2010 06:47 AM PSTHe is not the rightful heir to the throne. The Pahlavis are Mazandar peasants who were put in power by the British.
We need a Shahanshah who is from the old, aristocratic families...Safavi, Afshar or even Qajar.
Seriously, Mojtaba Khamenei would make a better Shah than Reza Pahlavi.

"America installed by daddy when he ran away from Iran the first time. I wanna be like daddy. When will America install me? I ran away a long time ago, yet I keep waiting and it never happens. My mommy says it will happen. Mommy? When's it gonna happen?"

Which crown?
by Puck on Mon Nov 08, 2010 02:38 AM PSTI think his dad pawned the crown to pay for the flight to safety.
My heart is true as steel.
Actually Maryam Jaan when I come to think of it ...
by Darius Kadivar on Mon Nov 08, 2010 01:42 AM PSTIn Persian we don't really distinguish between "Crown Prince" and "Prince" since the word Shahzadeh literally means "Born to a King" ...
I think that is why we tend to be confused when we try to refer to them in English.
Thank you for taking my friendly advice into consideration.
Warm Regards,
DK
Thank You
by Maryam Nayeb Yazdi on Mon Nov 08, 2010 01:36 AM PSTfor your comment Darius jan. I changed it. I thought about it after reading your comment and realized that if I were to refer to William or Charles of Britain royalty, I would have made sure to include the "Prince" in the title...
You mean "Crown Prince" Reza Pahlavi ...
by Darius Kadivar on Mon Nov 08, 2010 01:38 AM PSTAka "Shahzadeh" Reza Pahlavi ...
Forgive me for my Political Incorrectness but I don't know any Reza Pahlavi ... I just know a Crown Prince by that name ...
Just to give Credit where it is due ... ;0)
