اما جالب است رسانه های ایرانی کمتر از سوء استفاده های بین المللی که این شیخ نشین می کند مطلبی منتشر می کنند.

sanctions
by IRANdokht on Fri Apr 25, 2008 04:57 PM PDTUntil Iran is under strict sanctions due to the policies of the government, Iranians need a "Dubai" to run business with the rest of the world. that's why there are so many Iranian firms there.

You build it they come!
by Anonymo (not verified) on Thu Apr 24, 2008 11:08 PM PDTInstead of closing their eyes and taking solice in that fact that Dubai was nothing 30 years ago
Iranian leaders should wake up and realize they are losing the game to bunch of sheikhs on the other side of the pond!!
Iran has also to start developing touristic and modern metropolitans like Dubai to attract tourisma nd capital!
As for Persian Gulf, that is forever!

by aryanium on Thu Apr 24, 2008 07:00 PM PDTThank you for your comment but I guess you misunderstood.
First of all I have not written that article as you see the source.
Second, No one needs to take a rip down there to realize who actually
built the city; We all know at least a bit how the construction works.
That exaggeration was solely to highlight the impact Iran and
Iranians have had in Dubai while neglecting the disrespecting policy
the UAE have been pursuing toward our Country. The point is the financial and the monitory circulation provided by
Iranians.
Regardless of that you can not deny the largest transactions Dubai has is with Iran.
we have around 500,000 residents there which is over 12% of the
population as the largest minority of DUBAI besides around 10,000 registered firms with the lump sum
assets over 300 billion dollars according to the BBC. I guess this is
contributing a lot , huh?
Our government has not been firm to take the expected appropriate
reaction against the UAE's constant claims on three Persian gulf islands as well as
their baseless distortion of the historical name of Persian gulf.
We are indirectly populating their business while they have been invading our territories and history. Thats the bottom line.
I do not expect any foreign government to treat us based on our own
national interests but expect ourselves as Iranians to do so by not
taking a trip there when we do not have to until they change their
policy. This is my personal idea.
However these issues are the bitter signs of getting weak in the region too...
Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option.
congratulation to Islamic Republic of Iran!!! , specially
by aaj sr (not verified) on Thu Apr 24, 2008 05:25 PM PDTKhamenei, Mahmoud, and all past and present revolutionaries who beat their chests for proclaiming leadership and exporting Islam to further corners of the World.
Spain is in negotiation to buil a 1000 public wash rooms within 8 months, will commensurate the first step to compete with Dubai tourism!.
Tourists who must cover their hair, and men mandated to wear long sleeves and follow Sharia's Islamic laws/bylaws, for sure will make Iran a Mecca for tourism!!.
Thrid hand, reconditioned old Russian Topolovs, a generation old Boeing planes, and recognition as THE number one record keeper in the world for road accidents (between 22,000 to 26,000 deaths, and close to 200,000, injuries per year) is another incentives for tourists of the world to bring their dollar/euros/yen to spend in our "Land of Freedom".
Having said that, our outgoing tourists, spending their dollars in Dubai, Turkey, Europe and the relegious tourists will have a good time spending theirs in Karbala, Najaf, Mecca Medina.
This is a real sad sotry.

You need to read more about Dubai and visit the place before claiming that it was built by Iranians.
