Even with the recent spike in the price of fuel here, the US still hasn’t caught up to much of the world. Drivers in Norway and Great Britain pay more than twice what we do for a gallon of gas.

Iranians seem to have bigger balls than our American friends when it come to matters such as this gas price increase.. In iran, a price increase on gasoline as much as here in US, will cause the governmment to collapse. In USA, the people behind the government are filling their pockets and non one dares to speak up ! This is what "democracy" is all about: FEAR !

what would you suggest?

should we burn our local Gas station ( they make 1 to 1 1/2 cents per gallon if at all) to makes us feel better like we have done some thing?
Reason the prices in Europe are much higher is because they tax gas to death to provide for all the social services benefits (long vacations, free health care,child care, etc..)
nothing is free and nothing is cheap except Iranian oil and Gas for chinses, russians, hamas, syria, hezbollah and so on.....
