The salamander can only regenerate a limb. In man there are also stem cells, which are undifferentiated that have potential to also regenerate.
A study showed injection of umbilical cord blood stem cells into men resulted in improved erectile function. This is only a pilot experiment, but shows great promise.

If we men keep that all-important penile artery pumping free and clean then we will never need viagra or any of the other ED fixes. It's vegetarianism all the way for me and my baby.
